The TOGGLER® hollow-wall anchor is ideal for all light to medium duty anchoring and fastening. Designed for use in standard residential drywall or gypsum board, the anchor pre-installs without the screw and "pops" open and locks as a fully toggled anchor on walls, ceilings, or floors. In all materials thicker than its grip range it works as a wedge anchor, even if you hit a stud. The anti-rotation fins prevent the anchor from spinning in the wall, so that you can use a screw gun. The anchor does not damage the wall upon installation or removal.
All holding values given below are per anchor with the screws shown in the packages. All pull-out values are independent laboratory tests done according to U.S. Government standards. They should be used as guides only. The age, condition, and capacity of the substrate must be considered.
Industry standards recommend 1/4 of ultimate test load. Holding strength for a TOGGLER hollow-wall anchor varies directly with the strength and condition of the wall material–and inversely with variations in hole diameter and the distance of the load from the wall.
